Rainwater collection

There are many successful cases of water collection & reuse in many countries in the world.

Japan is the first country to conduct “water reuse” project. In Sumida-ku of Tokyo, people collect the rainwater falling on their roof and direct it into a water tank by a conduit to flush toilet, irritation, and washing cars, etc. This project of jointly collecting rainwater with citizens won the environment prize of the first session hosted by Conference of International Environmental Autonomous Organization. At present, more and more local governments in Japan are responding the recall of building a “mini reservoir” in the capital center. “Mini reservoir” has been built in more than 1000 sites such as Japan Kokugikan Sumo Stadium, Japan Television Station, Sophia University library, etc. It also plays a beneficial role in preventing water gathering on the urban road caused by untimely drainage.
